Inclusivity on birding tours

I believe that birds and nature are for everyone to enjoy.

Regardless of your race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, belief system, or abilities, you are welcome to join my tours so long as you are accepting of and kind to the humans around us and nature that we encounter.

And regardless of where we are in the world, in all government structures and social systems, I aim to foster a safe, warm, welcoming environment with no tolerance for discrimination.

If you have a special need that might limit your ability to join a tour, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me to discuss options and accommodations.

If there is something else that you would like to discuss before joining a group tour, please know that I am always available to chat or answer questions.

I recognize that global travel is an incredible privilege, and that cost and access remain barriers for many. My long-term goal is to help expand access to nature and birding — through partnerships, community programs, and creative solutions both big and small. If you share these goals, I’d love to connect.

Whether you are looking for lifers or simply savoring the joy of wild places, my ultimate aim is that you will find my tours to be welcoming, engaging, and non-intimidating: a place where anyone who loves birds and nature can feel at home.
